Fawn McKay was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn McKay, brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family utilized her writing talent as well as research abilities to create the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. The title comes from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. The preacher shocked the audience when he said declaring: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen my heart." There is no one who has ever known about my past. No one knows my history. Fawn was a 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment the three authors have taken on the challenge. Some have attempted to establish a medical diagnosis. Documents do not lack and contradictory. To assemble the documents -and separate the firsthand sources from a third-party plagiarism and then fit Mormon and non Mormon accounts together into an authentic mosaic, is not an easy task. The task is exciting and informative. Fawn Brodie's career was committed to this cause. Thaddeus S. Stevens is immortalized in her work and the fruits of her studies. Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974) as well as the posthumously Richard Nixon.
