Following a dramatic rise in fame, the actress landed roles on big screens such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino.
