Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer, and vocalist. Being a smart and beautiful actress, she serves as a role model for numerous Asian actors who are in Hollywood who want to succeed. After a series of appearances in television shows that were popular her name was a household name after being cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. Following a dramatic rise in fame, the actress landed roles on big screens such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In addition, she played lead parts in box office flops such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Following that, she began to voice prominent characters in animated films like Kung Fu Panda. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield results. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police drama that Liu starred frequently, was a role which helped to reestablish she is an internationally acclaimed as an actress.
