Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk was the child of the British father and English-Turkish Cypriot mother. As a child, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna was transferred to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna became a Jew in 2011 after converting to Judaism. The couple was wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton the month of April in 2011.
