KimBeverly Lumbres Caimen (born June 20th, 1994 (11)) is known as a mononym, Beverly is a Filipino pop singer from Japan under the Avex Trax label. Her numerous soundtrack appearances include "Be the One" from Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" from Pokemon the Movie Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen was born on June 20, 1994 in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines as the third daughter of Ramon Vega Caimen and Leticia Valdez Lumbres. She has a brother and two other sisters. Beverly started singing when she was five years old. Her mother took her to school and she discovered that Beverly had a talent for singing. At age 7 she joined the school's chorus. She began her voice lessons at nine when her mom had time. Around this time, she took part in her first competition in singing, but she did not win. Her mother was supportive of her and encouraged her to continue since she felt that she required more knowledge. Batangas State University awarded her the degree of Bachelor of Science. in Psychology. Beverly began following her dreams by joining various amateur singing contests. She won first place at the World Championships of Performing Arts. She recorded her songs for GMA Records, and collaborated with Vehnee Saturno. In the year 2000, she released Beverly Caimen, her first and sole album for GMA. Beverly was nominated for the Best Performance at the Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She also won the A Song of Praise Music Festival year award for Best Performance.
